Shivoham Sangha

Shivoham Sangha is a profound and meaningful name that embodies the divine essence within us. "Shivoham" combines "Shiva" (the ultimate consciousness) and "Aham" (meaning "I am"). It represents the realization of our divine nature.

"Sangha" refers to a community of like-minded individuals supporting each other on their spiritual journey. Together, we strive for self-realization and the elevation of human consciousness.

At Shivoham Sangha, we believe in the transformative power of spiritual practices to elevate human consciousness and foster a sense of interconnectedness. Our community is a gathering of like-minded individuals who share a common intention: to embark on a journey of self-discovery and collective growth. Through the practice of yoga asanas, pranayama, satsang, and immersive retreat experiences, we explore the depths of our inner being and cultivate awareness in every moment. Our intention is not only to nurture personal transformation but also to create a ripple effect of positive change in the world. We envision a future where our community transcends geographical boundaries, coming together in a space of harmony and shared purpose—a village, an ashram, where individuals live in alignment with their highest selves and support one another on the path to awakening. Together, we aspire to raise human consciousness, uplift each other, and extend a welcoming hand to all who seek the light.

A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
